Itinerary Summary
DAY 1 ARRIVAL – BASEL Arrival in Basel and check in to your hotel. Time at leisure. Enjoy a stroll in the Old Town, along the Rhine, and get a taste of the urban art scene. Embrace the local culture and the arts that the city has to offer. Overnight in Basel.


DAY 2 BASEL After breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure with free public transport around the city and discounted museum fares with the Basel Card. Perhaps include a visit of Foundation Beyeler and the Paper Mill Museum. Walk along the Art Trail Rehberger which connects to Germany. Optional private guided walking tour. Overnight in Basel.


DAY 3 BASEL – GSTAAD Your next destination takes you off the beaten track, high up in the Alps via rail. The train ride from Basel to Gstaad takes around 3 hours with two train changes. The last part from Zweisimmen to Gstaad is on the Golden Pass Line, which is a Panoramic train. Here you will relax for the next 2 nights and enjoy wellness, exclusive mountain activities and authentic culinary experiences. Overnight in Gstaad.


DAY 4 GSTAAD Today is at leisure for you to experience Gstaad and the Swiss mountain air while hiking, swimming in alpine lakes, biking, golfing, or bathing at the hotel spa. We’ve included a cable car ride to Glacier 3000 just for fun. Overnight in Gstaad.


DAY 5 GSTAAD – DEPARTURE Enjoy breakfast before your individual return journey from Gstaad to your next destinations or back to the airport.  Onward to any other cities in Europe by air or rail or car!
